Teacher IntroDear Second Grade Families, Welcome to the 2011 -2012 school year. I hope you had a great summer! I am very excited for the opportunity to work with you and your child this school year.
My name is Ms. Herrera (students sometimes call me Ms. H.) I am a passionate life-long learner and I am committed to instilling that passion into my students. This will be my fourth year teaching and as most of you know, I taught second grade here at OLR last year. I am honored to be a member of the Our Lady of the Rosary family. I love teaching and helping each child feel confident and be successful. I hold high expectations for all students. I want to make the most of our time together and leave a positive and lasting impact on their lives.
A year full of growth and learning awaits us. As the year progresses please don't hesitate to call or visit with any concerns or questions you may have. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and getting to know your children.
